The weekend that was.

A busy weekend found me photographing a baby bump and a 9 year olds speedy go kart racing birthday.

A weird side by side comparison as I have to fess up and say the 9 year old I photographed as a newborn. I used film in those days else I would show you a then and now.

It really makes me feel old when I think I took this guys first photos and have done for 9 years at least 2 sessions a year. They have amazing photo albums from these sessions and a LOT of photos adorning the walls of their amazing home.

So from a bump ( who I am extremely priveleged to say I am witnessing coming into this world in a few months) to a nine year old. A wedding shoot should have been in the middle of this – but thank goodness wasn’t

photography and me ……

I photograph MANY different subjects. From weddings to models to food to architecture to shacks to preggy tummy’s. But I just know I love the babies. They are so unaffected by everything. They WANT to laugh. It’s what they simply want to do. They look to us older, wiser, grumpier elders and I think they wonder why we are so affected.

If these don’t make you smile you need to examine your life…..

Just plain sweet

So, work goes on and I revel in the fact that every now and then I get to shoot a sweet little face

so …I suck at blogging

But I have a little compensation. Many of you have even gotten to emailing me about the lack of blogs so I apologise.

I thought a few pics from a recent engagement shoot might appease you ! Janine and Paul we had great fun. Cannot wait for your AUG 2010 ( yip 2010) wedding !

So much has been going on. My “dark room” studio has had a full on revamp ( pics soon) and many of you know about my 21 year old nephews murder which really knocked me for a 6. In fact it knocked me for a 12.

So forgive me. And I hope to share some of the cutest baba’s and weddings I have been busy with.
